CAACE is a leading voice in Connecticut for the advancement and support of adult education. Program directors, teachers, support staff, and adult learners all play an important role in raising awareness among the public and elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels about the mission, challenges, successes, and impact of adult education programs.

Adult education plays a vital role in Connecticut's education and workforce development system by helping individuals build foundational skills, earn educational credentials, access career pathways, and prepare for employment and lifelong learning opportunities.
