Workshop Description: In this workshop, you will move from curiosity to clarity—observing what

AI can do, deciding what it should do, and leaving with a concrete next step matched to your

program’s readiness. Whether you have yet to open ChatGPT or already automate reports, you’ll

preview high-impact use cases (differentiation, multilingual outreach, real-time feedback),

examine an exemplar prompt, and test one scenario in a low-risk sandbox. Peers will share

governance, privacy, and coaching considerations in real time, and everyone will receive a

one-page Connecticut-aligned ethics brief to guide future pilots. Exit with a priority-ranked

action plan you can hand to staff tomorrow—or the confidence to start the conversation. Active

exploration, not demonstration, drives the session: come to click, question, and calibrate AI’s

promise for your teachers and, ultimately, your adult learners.
