Call for Workshop Presenters

Share your expertise. Spark ideas. Strengthen adult education.

CAACE invites educators, program leaders, workforce and community partners, and adult education professionals to submit workshop proposals for our 2027 conference.

We’re seeking practical, engaging sessions that highlight innovative ideas, effective practices, and strategies participants can apply in their programs and communities.

Suggested topics include:

• Instructional strategies for adult basic education, high school completion, and English language learning

• Artificial intelligence, digital literacy, and educational technology

• Career pathways, workforce development, and Integrated Education & Training (IET)

• Community and employer partnerships

• Learner engagement, persistence, wellness, and student leadership

• Program leadership, professional learning, data, and assessment

Other relevant and emerging topics are welcome.

Workshop Details

Sessions are 60 minutes, with double sessions considered when additional time is warranted. Workshops may include up to two presenters. CAACE provides a Windows laptop, standard audiovisual equipment, Wi-Fi, and session support.

Presenting does not include conference registration or meals. Presenters wishing to attend other sessions or participate in lunch must register and pay the applicable fee.

Proposal deadline: January 4, 2027
Acceptance notification: By January 12, 2027
