CAACE Call for Presenters — 2026

Share your expertise, innovation, and passion with Connecticut’s adult education community! CAACE invites educators, leaders, and partners to submit workshop proposals for the 45th Annual CAACE Conference. All proposals must include a session title, clear description, and key learning objectives.

Each year, our conference is strengthened by the knowledge and leadership of presenters like you. Join us in creating a dynamic, high-quality professional learning experience for adult educators statewide.

Proposal Deadline: December 21, 2025
Notification Date: January 12, 2026

Workshop Topics

We welcome a wide range of topics relevant to adult education. Proposals may include, but are not limited to:

ABE

Presentation Details

  • All workshops are 60 minutes.

  • Double concurrent sessions may be considered for content requiring extended time.

  • Rooms are arranged theater style for approximately 45 participants; limited alternate arrangements may be available.

  • Sessions may include up to two presenters.

What CAACE Provides

  • Windows laptop.

  • Projector & screen.

  • Speakers.

  • Power supply.

  • Dedicated Wi-Fi.

  • A workshop proctor to assist with logistics.

What Presenters Should Bring

  • Presentation stored in the cloud (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.).

  • Electronic handouts uploaded to Whova before the conference.

  • Printed handouts (45 copies), if desired.

Presenter Responsibilities

  • Register for the conference and pay the presenter rate.

  • Upload handouts/materials to the Whova folder when available.

  • Cover all travel, lodging, and personal expenses.

  • Arrange and fund any A/V needs beyond what CAACE provides.

  • Maintain the security of personal equipment.
